Power Cell
n
Check the following items:
• Check for discoloration indicating burn marks.
• Check for leakage from the smoothing capacitor.
• Check for loose bolts in the input terminals (L1, L2, L3) and the output terminals (T1, T2). Retighten bolts to the
recommended tightening torque.
• Check for a loose fiber optic cable connector and re-insert.
• Check for loose screws and bolts inside Power Cells. Retighten screws and bolts to the recommended tightening
torque.
If there are any, retighten them.
• Check the main circuit fuse and control fuse on the board for discoloration and partial looseness.
• Check for accumulation of dirt and dust on the heatsink.
Remove debris with dried compressed air at: 39.2 × 10
Air Filter
n
If the air filter is soiled or clogged with dirt and dust, the cooling capacity of the drive will be compromised, and the
temperature of the drive will rise abnormally. Check the air filter for dirt and dust at each periodic inspection, and clean it
with neutral detergent every six months.
Board
n
Check the following items:
• Check the board for abnormal odors or discoloration.
• Check for loose screws or connectors. Retighten screws and connectors to the recommended tightening torque.
Cooling Fan
n
Check the following items:
• Check for abnormal vibration and noise.
• Check for loose installation bolts. Retighten bolts to the recommended tightening torque.
• Insulation resistance of the cooling fan's motor
Check the insulation resistance of the cooling fan motor using a 500 V Megger insulation resistance tester. The
measured insulation resistance must be 10 MΩ or more.
• Check the cooling fan motor bearing. The service life of the bearing is approximately 40,000 hours.
