5.4 Fault Detection

only" (the drive continued to run after external

Speed Deviation (for Control Mode with PG)
The deviation between the speed reference and speed feedback is greater than the setting in
F1-10 for longer than the time set to F1-11.
• Check the size of the load.
• Reduce the load.
Increase the acceleration and deceleration times (C1-01 through C1-08).
Check the machine.
Check the settings of parameters F1-10 and F1-11.
Ensure the motor brake releases properly.
Door Open
The contact input terminal from the door limit switch has detected that the panel door is open.
(Fault detected when the terminal is open. No fault detected when the terminal assigned for
H1- = 73 is closed.)
Close the panel door.
• Check for disconnected cables and faulty wiring.
• Correct the wiring.
• Check that limit switch is operating normally.
• Replace the limit switch.
Option Card External Fault
An external fault condition is present.
• Remove the cause of the external fault.
• Remove the external fault input from the PLC.
Check the PLC program and correct problems.
