| Summary:
| - Initialize the GPIB-1014P hardware
|
| Assumptions on entry:
| - User specified constants MA and SC have
| been initialized
| - Mode 1 primary addressing is used
| - Low speed timing is used
| - Interrupts are not used
| - Status byte will be set elsewhere
| - Remote Parallel Poll configuration will be used
|
| Actions:
| - Pulse IEPON to put hardware in known reset state
| - Disable interrupts and clear status
| - Set hardware registers to desired values
|
| Status on return:
| - The following registers are cleared: ISR1/2, IMR1/2,
| SPMR, SPSR, PPR, AUXRA, AUXRE
| - Other registers are configured as described
| - The GPIB-1014P interface functions are reset to idle
| and are enabled
