Create composite output profiles

2. Click [Import].
3. Browse to the storage location of the output profile (ICC file).

4. The [Import output profile] dialog box appears.

5. Define a name and description of the composite output profile.
6. Use the [Paper simulation] drop-down list to select the simulation profile.
7. Check the [Paper simulation] check box to enable paper simulation. When paper simulation is
enabled, the color of the media on the simulated printer is simulated. If paper simulation is
enabled, the absolute colorimetric rendering intent is applied. Otherwise, the relative
colorimetric rendering intent is applied.
8. Click [OK].
The composite output profile, with a reference to the simulation profile, is in the list of output
profiles.
NOTE
You can also edit the output profile and select the simulation profile after the import.
Create a composite output profile with a DeviceLink profile
1. Open the Settings Editor and go to: [Color]→[Output profiles].
2. Click [Import].
3. Browse to the storage location of the DeviceLink profile (ICC file).
The printer detects that the profile is a DeviceLink profile.
4. In the [Import device link] dialog, use the [Paper simulation] drop-down list to select the
simulation profile.
5. Click [OK].
The composite output profile, with a reference to the DeviceLink profile, is in the list of output
profiles.
