EVIC SWITCH INPUT CIRCUIT SHORT —
TEST

Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Instrument Cluster C1 harness connector.
Disconnect the Instrument Panel Switch Pod harness connector.
Measure the resistance between ground and the EVIC Mux Signal circuit.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes → Repair the EVIC Mux Signal circuit for a short to ground.
→ Replace the Instrument Cluster in accordance with the Service
