POWER DOOR LOCKS/RKE
Symptom:
*DRIVER DOOR FAILS TO LOCK
DRIVER DOOR LOCK DRIVER SHORT TO GROUND
DDM - DRIVER DOOR LOCK OPEN
TEST
1
Remove the inner door trim panel to gain access to the Driver Door Module C1
connector.
Disconnect the Driver Door Module C1 connector.
Measure the resistance of the Driver Door Lock Driver circuit in the Driver Door
Module C1 connector to body ground.
Is the resistance below 20 ohms?
Yes → Repair the Driver Door Lock Driver wire for a short to ground.
→ Replace the Driver Door Module.
