Air Flow Controlled Fuel Injection

REMOVING AND INSTALLING THROTTLE HOUSING
Removing
1. Take off air cleaner assembly.
2. Disconnect brake booster hose on connecring
adapter of intake distributor.
a) Disconnect hose
from
A/C solenoid valve
on intake distributor.
b) Loosen hose clamps on intake pipes and push
back rubber sleeves on intake pipes.

3. Loosen upper hose clamps on connecror between
intake distributor and rhrorrle housing. Remove
intake distributor from above.
4. Pull off hoses and disconnect throttle cable.
Pull wires off of microswitches. unscrew
mounting bolts and remove throttle housing.
Installing
1. Connect wires on microswirches as follows:
Term. 18 black and term. 2 black/white on
microswitch A (idle conracr).
Term. 18 black and term. 3 w'lite on
microswitch 3 (full throttle contact).
2. Connect vaxuum hoses as follow%
1
To
distributor (retard).
2 To decel valve/pressure regulator/pressure
damper.
3 To distributor (advance)/vacuum check valve
(charcoal filter).
