E2 Read temperature value on the OBD II scan tool or TOYOTA

hand–held tester.
OK:
E8 Connector

– ENGINE (5S–FE)
Remove the glove compartment (See page SF–64).
Disconnect the E8 connector from the ECM.
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Temperature value: –40°C (–40°F)
OK Repair or replace harness or connector.
