(5) Install the upper strut mount assembly onto
the strut shaft, aligning paint marks (Fig. 3). Install
the upper strut mount to strut shaft retaining nut on
strut shaft.
(6) Using Strut Rod Socket, Special Tool, L-4558
and a 8 mm allen wrench to keep strut shaft from
turning. Torque the strut shaft nut to 95 N¼m (70 ft.
lbs.).

(7) Equally loosen the Spring Compressors, Special
Tool C-4838 until spring is seated on upper strut mount
and all tension is relieved from the spring compressors.
