Pair Detective Result Details

Summary
The read-only Summary page displays the cable
parameters and detailed results saved from
running the Pair Detective test.
Test Identification is the test type of the

group, for example Pair Detective.
Cable Type is the cable entry (with its

associated parameters) from the current
Cable Book, used for testing.
Cable Fill is the type of material the cable is

filled with: Aircore, Jelly, Pulp, 5 PR, or 2 PR.
Velocity of Propagation is the velocity of

propagation for the cable as a ratio of the speed of light.
Cable Temperature is the temperature of the cable under test in either

degree C or F.
Result displays a Summary of the overall pass/fail status,

DC-Voltage/Current and Isolation for each selected wire pair, as well
as other detailed results of the Pair Detective test.


MaxTester Copper Test
Isolation results also display a five-level indicator of the measured
isolation, below Hard Short.
Estimated Length displays the length of the circuit as found from
the TDR test for the first cycle of the Pair Detective test.
