- Put in both parts together, position them and fix them with air filter holder •.

If the air filter is not correctly mounted, dust and dirt can penetrate into the
engine and can cause damage.
- Install the air filter box lid. (-- p. 64)

- Oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaners, brake fluid, etc., should be disposed of as stipulated in applicable regulations.

Do not clean the air filter with fuel or petroleum since these substances attack the foam.
- Remove the air filter. (-- p. 64)
- Wash the air filter thoroughly in special cleaning liquid and allow it to dry properly.

Only press the air filter to dry it, never wring it out.
- Oil the dry air filter with a high quality filter oil.

Oil for foam air filter (-- p. 253)

- Check the carburetor connection boot for damage and firm seating.
- Install the air filter. (-- p. 64)

- Remove the air filter. (-- p. 64)
- Loosen hose clip •. Detach the carburetor connection boot. from the filter wall
and remove
it.
- Position the carburetor connection boot 0 and hang it into the filter wall. Position
the hose clip. and tighten it.
- Install the air filter. (-- p. 64)
