8.3 Using Folding Unit FD-503
The Punch Screen will be displayed.

Select the desired number of punch holes and their positions.

Press [OK].
% To restore the previous setting, press [Cancel].
% To disable the function while keeping the current setting, press [Function OFF].
The Output Setting Screen will be restored.

Press [OK] on the Output Setting Screen to return to the Copy Screen.
An icon representing specified output mode will be displayed under [Output Setting] on the Copy
Screen.

Loading Covers into Post Inserter of Folding Unit FD-503

Using the Insert Sheet function, cover sheets loaded in the upper/lower tray of the post inserter will be at-
tached to the output copies as a front cover, as a back cover, or as insertion (chapter) sheets. Use this func-
tion to create a staple-bound book with covers and title pages attached. Also, used in combination with
Perfect Binder PB-503, cover sheets can be attached to output copies to make perfect-bound booklets.
