7.9 Erasing Outside Area of Original: No Image Area Erase
Use this function to have the machine detect the original size placed on the original glass, then make a copy
eliminating the area of the glass outside the borders of the original.
Setting original

Position the original on the original glass. The ADF should be kept open.

The size of the original should be larger than 0.39 x 0.39 inches.

Position the original on the original glass and keep the ADF open.
NOTICE
Do not close the ADF.

Press [Application] on the Copy Screen.

Press [No Image Area Erase] on the Application Screen.
The incompatible function keys will be grayed out to show inactivity.

Press [OK] on the Application Screen to return to the Copy Screen.
The Copy Screen will be restored with the No Image Area Erase icon displayed under [Application].
Auto Paper and Auto Zoom are canceled and [x1.0] magnification is selected automatically.

Select additional copy conditions, as desired.
% The available copy modes are [1->1] and [1->2]. Selecting [1->2] automatically sets the Separate
Scan mode.

Enter the desired print quantity from the control panel keypad.

Press Start on the control panel.
