9.1
PERIODICAL INSPECTIONS
For the safe operation of electrostatic manual coating systems for fl ammable liquid coating products, intervals for
periodical inspections are defi ned as follows:
Inspection point
Gun cleaning, gun fl ushing
Hoses, tubes, couplings
Grounding
Inspection for damage
Locking of the technical ventilation with the
electrostatic manual coating system
The above recommended intervals are maximum values and may be modifi ed by the operator depending on
the local and operational conditions and the contamination.
Damaged devices must be decommissioned and repaired immediately.
