Before You Begin

Before using this guide, you must coordinate with the network administrator for
the ARN that you are installing.

Conventions

Physically install the ARN
Attach communications equipment
Connect the ARN to the network using one of the software configuration
options
Use the ARN operator switches and interpret LED displays
Indicate that you choose the text to enter based on the
description inside the brackets. Do not type the
brackets when entering the command.
Example: if command syntax is
you enter ping 192.32.10.12
Indicates text that you need to enter command names in
text.
Example: Use the dinfo
Indicate optional elements. You can choose none, one,
or all of the options.
