Sequence of addressing
1.
I/O diagnostics interface
2.
Analogue modules
3.
Technology modules
4.
Digital modules
1) Depending on the setting, this address range can also be occupied by status bits (
and Tab. 1/3).
Tab. B/8:
Sequence of addressing
B-12
The address assignment of the inputs does not depend on
the address assignment of the outputs.
Counting from left to right, addressing bytewise: Modules
with less than 8 bits occupy an 8-bit address space, but
do not use it completely.
The bus node counts as a module with 0 inputs and 0 out
puts when the status bits and the I/O diagnostic interface
are deactivated.
The I/Os of different module types are assigned separ
ately from each other.
The sequence in the following table applies:
Description
1)
Can be activated by DIL switch. If it is activated, it will occupy
the first 16 inputs and outputs in the address range.
Modules with analogue inputs/outputs
e.g. CP interface, control block CPX-FEC
Modules with digital inputs/outputs
