3.3.9. How to place the Cassette Holder Unit in the Down Position
without a Cassette Tape
To place the Cassette Holder Unit in the down position without a cassette tape, use
the following procedure.
Method 1 - Refer to
1. Disconnect the AC Cord.
2. Place the Unit in the Service Position (2).
3. Turn the Loading Pulley counterclockwise (Front View) until the top of Set Lever L
and R is locked by the First Locking Tab (Left and Right).
4. Clear the First Locking Tab (Left and Right) by pressing the (a) portion of the Set
Lever L and R.
5. Turn the Loading Pulley counterclockwise (Front View) until the top of Set Lever R
is locked by the Second Locking Tab (Right).
6. Clear the Second Locking Tab (Right) by pressing the (a) portion of the Set Lever R.
7. Turn the Loading Pulley counterclockwise (Front View) until the top of Set Lever L
and R is locked by the Third Locking Tab (Left and Right).
8. Clear the Third Locking Tab (Left and Right) by pressing the (a) portion of the Set
Lever L and R.
9. Continue to turn the Loading Pulley until the Cassette Down Position is obtained.
