PART 2: Establishing the Audio Output Channels
This step will establish the audio output channels to be saved to the FRM and DMM and the
audio output channels saved only to the DMM
NOTE: Only 4 Audio Output Channels may be stored to the FRM. To store more
than 4 audio input channels to the FRM software mixing of the audio input
channels can be set to create zones.
STEP 2: In the Output Channel drop-down box shown below in Figure 8-20 - Output channel
selection, select the output channel to be used.
NOTE: The Primary VHF and ALL bridge microphones MUST BE stored to the
FRM.

NOTE: Software mixing to create zones can be set by selecting the same output
channel for two audio input channels. It is not possible to mix VHF audio input
channels with microphone audio input channels. And it is not possible to mix more
than 2 audio input channels (4 inputs).
STEP 3: Save <vdrparams.ini>
NOTE: Detection threshold values will be set once audio recording levels are verified as correct.
Refer to Section 8.4.4 for details on calculating detection threshold values
STEP 4: Close the Audio Module I/O Configuration window.
