data from a base station to provide significantly higher positional accuracy than
standard GNSS. RTK requires additional infrastructure equipment to receive corrections
and is not practical for all applications. There are two different options for receiving
RTK corrections. For applications that are within good cellular coverage we recommend
cellular RTK corrections, see section 10.13.1. For applications that have poor or no
cellular coverage we recommend base station radio modem RTK corrections, see
section 10.13.2.
10.13.1
Cellular RTK corrections
For cellular RTK corrections, Advanced Navigation recommends the ARWest JLink GSM
cellular corrections receiver. This unit can be plugged directly into Spatial FOG Dual's
GNSS RS232 port to receive cellular RTK corrections. Please contact ARWest for more
