– Unbolt earth cable -1- and remove bolt.
– Remove vacuum hose -3- from vacuum pump -2.-
– Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove vacuum pump.
Note
The vacuum pump must not be dismantled.
Installing:
• Specified torques ⇒ page 46
Perform assembly in reverse order of removal. When doing this,
observe the following:
– Clean sealing surfaces.
– Place gasket on vacuum pump, insert 2 bolts and then fit on
cylinder head.
