♦ Torque wrench (5...50 Nm) -V.A.G 1331-

The exhaust system must be aligned when cold.
Procedure:
– Loosen bolts of double clamp -3-.
– Tighten bolts hand tight.
– Align exhaust system until the marking- 4- is visible.
– Align bolts of double clamp -3- horizontally.
– Align rubber mountings -1- for front silencer -2- and rear si‐
lencer -1- in such a way that dimension -a- is 8 mm.
– Tighten double clamp bolts -3- to 31 Nm.
