Serial Verification
Serial Command Beep Status
Important:
ESP will not function whenever this command is enabled.
Usage:
Used to audibly verify the acceptance and validity of a command.
Definition:
Causes the scanner to beep once whenever a K command is entered to
indicate that the command was accepted and processed.
Function:
If an invalid command is entered, the scanner beeps 5 times to indicate
an invalid entry. However, this does not necessarily mean that all data
fields have been entered incorrectly. Only one bad field needs to be found
in order to activate the 5 beep response.
Serial Cmd:

Options:
0 = Disabled
Control/Hex Output
Usage:
Used for viewing settings with binary characters when using serial com-
mand on a terminal.
Definition:
Determines the response to a Serial Command Echo or status request
command.
When set to Control, two characters are transmitted to represent a non-
displayable character. For example, a carriage return will be shown as the
two characters: ^M.
When set to Hex, the output is the hex character.
