Configure BGP on 6PE devices so that they can advertise tagged IPv6 routing information
through BGP sessions. The following describes only BGP configurations on 6PE devices.
To configure basic 6PE:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Enter BGP instance view.
3.
Specify a 6PE peer or peer
group and its AS number.
4.
Enter BGP IPv6 unicast
address family view.
5.
Enable BGP to exchange
IPv6 unicast routing
information with the 6PE
peer or peer group.
6.
Enable BGP to exchange
labeled IPv6 routes with
the 6PE peer or peer
group.

Configuring optional 6PE capabilities

Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Enter BGP instance view.
3.
Enter BGP IPv6 unicast
address family view.
4.
Advertise COMMUNITY
attribute to the 6PE peer or
peer group.
5.
Advertise extended
community attribute to the
6PE peer or peer group.
6.
Allow the local AS number to
appear in routes from the
6PE peer or peer group and
specify the repeat times.
7.
Specify an AS path list to
filter routes advertised to or
received from the 6PE peer
or peer group.
8.
Specify an IPv6 ACL to filter
routes advertised to or
received from the 6PE peer
or peer group.
