ECTION ONFIGURING
You can configure additional settings such as the device name, device number, auto
logout time and the menu output mode.
To configure these settings:

Access the General Settings screen:
Menu > Configuration> General
Click the More Settings tab to access the More Settings screen.

Configure the following settings:
Device Name: Edit the NVR name.

Device No.: Edit the NVR serial number. The device number can be set in the range

of 1~255. The default number is 255. This number is used for remote and keyboard
control.
Auto Logout: Set the time menu timeouts due to inactivity. For example, when the

logout time is set to five minutes, the system exits from the current operation menu
and returns to the Live View screen after five minutes of menu inactivity.
Enable HDMI/VGA Simultaneous Output (for 2U Series NVR only): By default,

the video outputs from HDMI and VGA interfaces can be operated separately. You
can set the simultaneous output for the HDMI and VGA by checking the checkbox of
the option.
Menu Output Mode: You can the video output for displaying the menu.

For the 2U series NVR, you can select the menu output mode to VGA/HDMI, VGA2/
HDMI2.
And for other series NVR, you can select the menu output mode to VGA, HDMI or
Auto. When the Auto option is selected and both HDMI and VGA outputs are
connected, the device detects and sets the HDMI as the menu output.
Click Apply to save the settings.
