If you do not want to install a HDD, select Menu -> Configuration -> Exceptions,
and uncheck the Audible Warning HDD Error checkbox.
2. Verify the HDD is initialized.
a.
Select Menu -> HDD -> General.
b.
If the status of the HDD is Uninitialized, check the checkbox of the corresponding
HDD and click the Init button.
3. Verify the HDD is detected or is in good condition.
a.
Select Menu -> HDD -> General.
b.
If the HDD is not detected or the status is Abnormal, replace the dedicated HDD
according to the requirement.
4. Check if the fault is solved by steps 1 ~ 3.
If solved, finish the process.
If not, contact engineer from our company for additional troubleshooting.
Status of the added IP camera displays as "Disconnected" when connected
through Private Protocol. Select Menu ->Camera -> Camera -> IP Camera to
obtain the camera status.
Possible Reasons:
Network failure, the NVR and IP camera lost connectivity.
The configured parameters are incorrect when adding the IP camera.
Insufficient bandwidth.
Corrective Actions:
1. Verify the network is connected.
a.
Connect the NVR and PC with the RS-232 cable.
b.
Open the Super Terminal software and execute the ping command. Enter ping IP
(e.g., ping 172.6.22.131).
NOTE
If return information exists and the time value is small, the network is normal.
2. Verify the configuration parameters are correct.
a.
Select Menu -> Camera -> Camera -> IP Camera.
b.
Verify the following parameters are the same with those of the connected IP
devices, including IP address, protocol, management port, user name and
password.
3. Verify whether the bandwidth is sufficient.
a.
Select Menu -> Maintenance -> Net Detect -> Network Stat.
b.
Check the usage of the access bandwidth and determine if the total bandwidth has
reached its limit.
Press Ctrl and C simultaneously to exit the ping command.
