3. The IP address in the Secured Client IP field does not match the client IP address. If it
does not match, the Contivity 221 will disconnect the session immediately.
4. There is an SMT console session running.
5. There is already another remote management session of the same type (web, FTP or
Telnet) running. You may only have one remote management session of the same type
running at one time.
6. There is a web remote management session running with a Telnet session. A web session
will be disconnected if you begin a Telnet session; it will not begin if there already is a
Telnet session.
7. There is a firewall rule that blocks it.

Remote Management and NAT
When NAT is enabled:
Use the Contivity 221's WAN IP address when configuring from the WAN.
Use the Contivity 221's LAN IP address when configuring from the LAN.
14.1.3
System Timeout
There is a system timeout of five minutes (three hundred seconds) for either the console port or
telnet/web/FTP connections. Your Contivity 221 automatically logs you out if you do nothing in
this timeout period, except when it is continuously updating the status in menu 24.1 or when sys
stdio has been changed on the command line. See the System screen to change the timeout
period in the Administrator Inactivity Timer field.
