Symptom
The door lock cannot
be opened although
a locking medium is
held in front of the
reader.
If the door lock still cannot be opened, please contact your

CEStronics partner.

Possible cause and remedy
You have used an unauthorized
locking medium.
Use an authorized locking

medium.
The batteries are empty.
Replace the batteries of the IES

against new ones (see page 97).
The locking medium is not within
the range of the reader module of
the IES.
Hold the locking medium nearer to

the reader module.
You have not touched the
activation surface of the proximity
sensor with your finger.
Touch the sensor.

