Parameters
interface-type: Specifies the interface type.
interface-number: Specifies the interface number.
description: Displays complete interface descriptions. If you do not specify this keyword, the command
displays a maximum of 16 characters for each interface description. If the description is longer than 16
characters, the first 14 characters are displayed, followed by an ellipsis (...).

Total number of ICMP packets received on the interface (statistics start at the
device startup):
