Usage guidelines
The client offline detection feature on the DHCP server reclaims an assigned IP address and deletes the
binding entry when the ARP entry ages out for the IP address.
This feature on the DHCP relay agent deletes the related relay entry and sends a RELEASE message to the
DHCP server when an ARP entry ages out.
This feature does not function if an ARP entry is manually deleted.
Examples
# Enable client offline detection.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface gigabitethernet 2/0/1

Use dhcp dscp to set the DSCP value for DHCP packets sent by the DHCP server or the DHCP relay agent.
Use undo dhcp dscp to restore the default.
