Checks and inspections
Ignition circuit
Ignition coil check
Use a pocket tester to check the coil. In every case
the continuity of the primary and secondary wind-
ings must be checked. The Ohm reading need not
be exact, but if the windings are not damaged, their
continuity must be detected getting the following
Ohm resistance values.
CAUTION
DISCONNECT THE SPARK PLUG CAP BEFORE MEASUR-
ING.
