MULTIFUNCTION LCD DISPLAY
If you turn the ignition key (1) to position "
all segments are activated on the
multifunction LCD display (the working of all
components is thus tested) and the last func-
tion, set after the vehicle stop, will be dis-
played.
CAUTION
After the first 1000 kilometres and then
after 6000 kilometres, the message SERV-
ICE is displayed. In this case, contact an
aprilia Official Dealer in order to carry on
the operations described in the regular
service intervals chart, see page 41
(REGULAR SERVICE
CHART).

The functions are selected and displayed by
pressing the MODE push-button (2) placed

on left side of the handlebar.
The segments of the multifunction LCD dis-
play are:
INTERVALS
Chronometer function indicator (3), pro-
grammed maintenance icon (4), average
mph speed icon (5)

average speed (6), battery charge icon (7),
average Km/h speed icon (8) (the same icon
is used for the "consumption" function ex-
pressed with the Km/l symbol), ( the con-
sumption is expressed in G/ml for
versions only) (9), maximum speed icon
(10), icon of the outside temperature ex-
pressed in Celsius degrees (° C) (11), icon
of the outside temperature expressed in
Fahrenheit degrees (° F) (12), six-figure dis-
play of the values relative to the functions
set and identified by the corresponding icons
(13).
