Engine
- Remove the command sprocket wheel and the
timing chain.
- Remove the screw indicated in the figure, the
spacer and the tensioner pad.
The tensioner pad must be removed operating
from the transmission side. The lower chain guide
pad can only be removed after the head has been
removed.
NOTE
IT IS ADVISABLE TO MARK THE CHAIN IN ORDER TO EN-
SURE THAT THE INITIAL DIRECTION OF ROTATION IS
MAINTAINED
Removing the cam shaft
- Remove the 2 screws and the camshaft mounting
bracket indicated in the figure.
- Remove the camshaft.
- Remove the pins and the rocking levers from the
flywheel side holes.
NOTE
IF NECESSARY, THE HEAD MAY BE REMOVED TOGETH-
ER WITH THE CAMSHAFT, ROCKING LEVER PINS AND
MOUNTING BRACKET. THE HEAD CAN ALSO BE RE-
MOVED WITHOUT TAKING OUT THE CHAIN AND THE
CHAIN TIGHTENER OF THE CRANKSHAFT.
