The front suspension consists of a hydraulic fork
connected to the steering headstock by means of
one plate.
Inspect the front suspension following the instruc-
tions on the scheduled maintenance table.
Replace oil from the front fork following the in-
structions in the scheduled maintenance table.
Carry out the following checks:
Operating the front brake lever, press
the handlebar repeatedly to send the
fork to the fully down. The stroke
should be soft and there should be no
oil marks on the stems.
If marks are found, or reported at the fork "end of
stroke", replace the oil. Check that the fork does
not leak oil and that the stem external surfaces
have neither grooves nor scratches. In this case,
replace all the damaged components, which can-
not be repaired.
Check the tightening of all the ele-
ments and the correct operation of the
front suspension.
NOTE
THE VEHICLE ALIGNMENT CANNOT BE MODIFIED.
