Configuring the c7000 Enclosures
l
Press F10 to save the configuration.
m Enter Y to save and exit.
n Press Enter on the iLO Needs to Reset pop-up window.
o Wait 30 seconds for the iLO to reset, and then try to reconnect to the iLO and open the remote console.
p Press Enter on the iLO is Resetting pop-up window again and then ESC.
q Press ESC to go to the iLO 4 Configuration Utility menu, again to go to the Systems Configuration
menu, and again at the System Utilities menu. Press Enter to exit RBSU and Enter again to reboot.
5 Add the admin user to iLO:
a Press F9 when the server POST displays F9 System Utilities on the bottom of the screen.
b Select System Configuration and press Enter.
c Select iLO 4 Configuration Utility and press Enter.
d Select User Management and press Enter.
e Select Add User and press Enter.

Review all of the new user iLO4 privileges and ensure they are all set to Yes.
g Select New User Name and press Enter.
h Enter admin and press Enter.

Select Login Name and press Enter. Enter admin and press Enter.

Select Password and press Enter. Enter <<mgmt_server_ilo_password>> and press Enter.
k Confirm the password by retyping <<mgmt_server_ilo_password>> and press Enter.

Press Enter on the iLO Needs to Reset pop-up window.
m Press Enter on the iLO is Resetting pop-up window.
n Press Enter when you see the Changes Saved! pop-up window.
o Press ESC to go to the iLO 4 Configuration Utility menu, again to go to the Systems Configuration
menu, and again at the System Utilities menu. Press Enter to exit RBSU and Enter again to reboot.
6 Repeat the procedure for each management server in the configuration:
a Power down the server before it continues with the boot sequence.
b Apply the license as described in
c Repeat this process for the other management server in the solution, using the variables that are
appropriate for that server.
Configuring the c7000 Enclosures
These procedures describe how to configure an HPE BladeSystem c7000 chassis for use in the HPE
Converged Architecture 700 with Nimble Storage.
Assign IP Addresses to the c7000 Enclosures from the Insight Display
Use this procedure to configure the basic network parameters for each enclosure from the physical Insight
display on the front of each c7000 enclosure.
