Create the Server Profile Template for the HPE OneView for vCenter

Enable the Manage boot order option and select Hard Disk.
g Enable the Manage BIOS.
h Under Advanced, ensure that Virtual is selected for all appropriate options and Hide unused FlexNICs
is set to Yes.

Create the Server Profile Template for the HPE OneView for vCenter Plugin
Procedure
1 From the top left corner of the HPE OneView UI, choose HP OneView > Server Profile Templates.
2 Select CA700_BL660c_Gen9_Server_Profile_Template.
3 From the top right side, choose Actions > Create server profile and enter the following information:
Name: CA700_OV4VC_BL660c_Gen9_Server_Profile_Template.
Description: CA700 OV4VC BL660c Gen9 Server Profile Template.
Server Hardware: Unassigned.
4 Click Create.
5 If you have other configurations of HPE ProLiant BL660c Gen9 servers such as servers with different NIC
or boot configurations, repeat this procedure for those server hardware types.

Complete Additional HPE OneView Configuration

Depending on the amount of customization that you want to configure in the HPE OneView environment, you
can perform additional tasks, such as adding unmanaged devices (for example, network switches), configuring
power delivery devices (for example, HPE iPDUs), or configuring the Rack and Datacenter views for a more
holistic display of the solution.

Deploying and Configuring HPE ICsp

You must deploy and configure the HPE Insight Control server provisioning (ICsp) VM. HPE ICsp is used to
deploy operating systems and hypervisor environments within the solution. Ensure that you have downloaded
the appropriate HPE ICsp version and any patches that are listed in
on page 12.
To deploy HPE ICsp, you must complete the following tasks:

Deploy the HPE ICsp VM

Configure basic networking settings on the HPE ICsp VM
Apply patches to HPE ICsp, if needed
Create and populate the HPE ICsp media server
Configure the HPE ICsp media server
Configure an HPE OneView user in HPE ICsp
Create build plans for use in this solution
Deploy the HPE ICsp VM
Procedure
1 From the Home page of the vSphere Web Client, click Host and Clusters.
2 Right-click <<vcenter_mgmt_cluster_name>> and choose Deploy OVF Template.
3 Browse to the location of the HPE ICsp OVA file, select the file, and open it.
