Create Logical Interconnect Groups
Procedure
1 From the top left corner of the HPE OneView UI, choose HP OneView > Logical Interconnect Groups.
2 Click Create logical interconnect group:
a Enter the name Solution_LIG.
b On bay 1 (top rectangle on the left side), select HP VC FlexFabric 20/40 F8 Module.
c On bay 2 (top rectangle on the right side), select HP VC FlexFabric 20/40 F8 Module.
d Click Add uplink set and create the Solution_SUS_A uplink set:
a Name: Solution_SUS_A.
b Type: Ethernet.
c Click Add networks and add the following networks to this uplink set:
•
Deployment_A
•
FT_A
•
Mgmt_A
•
SAN_A
•
VM_Traffic_A
•
vMotion_A
•
Any additional networks that you have created for side A
d Select the Native checkbox for the Deployment_A network.
e Click Add uplink ports and add the following ports:
•
HP VC FlexFabric-20/40 F8 Module 1 Q1.1
•
HP VC FlexFabric-20/40 F8 Module 1 Q2.1
•
HP VC FlexFabric-20/40 F8 Module 1 Q3.1
e Click Create+ to create the Solution_SUS_B uplink set:
a Name: Solution_SUS_B.
b Type Ethernet.
c Click Add networks and add the following networks to this uplink set:
•
Deployment_B
•
FT_B
•
Mgmt_B
•
SAN_B
•
VM_Traffic_B
•
vMotion_B
•
Any additional networks that you have created for side B
d Select the Native checkbox for the Deployment_B network.
e Click Add uplink ports and add the following ports:
•
HP VC FlexFabric-20/40 F8 Module 2 Q1.1
•
HP VC FlexFabric-20/40 F8 Module 2 Q2.1
•
HP VC FlexFabric-20/40 F8 Module 2 Q3.1

Click Create.
f
Click Create to create the logical interconnect group.
