9 Click OK.

Create a New OS Build Plan File for Use by HPE OneView for VMware vCenter Enhanced Grow Cluster

Procedure

1 From the top left corner of the HPE ICsp UI, choose HP Insight Control Server Provisioning > OS Build

Plans.

2 From the list of OS build plans on the left side, click ProLiant OS - ESXi 6.5 Scripted Install.

3 Click Actions > Save as.

4 Name the new OS build plan as HPE Grow Cluster - ESXi 6.5 Scripted Install.

Note

For the build plan to be available in the HPE OneView for VMware vCenter plugin, the name must

contain ESX (case insensitive).

5 Click OK.

6 From the list of OS build plans on the left side, select HPE Grow Cluster - ESXi 6.5 Scripted Install.

7 Hover your cursor over Custom Attributes and click Edit.

8 Click Create custom attribute and enter the following information:

•

Name: NTP_Server.

•

Value: <<mgmt_net_ntp1>>.

9 Click Create and then click OK in the Custom attributes window.

10 Hover your cursor over Steps and click Edit:

a Locate the ESXi 6.5 Kickstart step and click the green pencil to the right of the step.

b In the Configuration File list, select HPE Grow Cluster – ESXi 6.5 Kickstart.

c Click OK.

11 Click OK.
