ACL Filter Policy Commands
Parameters
filter-id — Specifies a previously defined embedded filter policy.
offset — a value from 0 to 65535, an embedded filter entry X will have an entry X + offset in the
embedding filter.

Description
This command configures filter-name attribute of a given filter. filter-name, when configured, can be
used instead of filter ID to reference the given policy in the CLI.

filter-name — A string of up to 64 characters uniquely identifying this filter policy.
scope

scope {exclusive | template | embedded}

Description
This command configures the filter policy scope as exclusive, template, or embedded. If the scope of
the policy is template and is applied to one or more services or network interfaces, the scope cannot
be changed.
The no form of the command sets the scope of the policy to the default of template.
