LINE DISTANCE PROTECTION SYSTEM – INSTRUCTION MANUAL
The system metering quantities are available from the front panel in the metering menu.
These values are derived automatically from the metering source. The following metering
screens are available.
The summary screen displays the system voltage, current, real, and reactive power on
a per-phase basis.
The demand screen displays demand values for current, real, and reactive power. The
peak value for current demand is recorded here and can be reset from this screen.
The energy screen displays and allows the user to reset four quadrant energy values.
The phasor screen graphically displays the phasor components of the system voltage
(phase-neutral) and current.
The sequence screen graphically displays the sequence components of the system
voltage and currents.
The user can access the mimic diagram and dedicated control pushbuttons from the
control menu. The mimic page provides status of circuit breakers and disconnect switches.
Operation of these devices is also available through the control pushbuttons.
