LINE DISTANCE PROTECTION SYSTEM – INSTRUCTION MANUAL
If there are alarms on multiple pages, and alarms on some pages have already been
acknowledged (but not cleared) by the user, then the pages with active alarms move ahead
of the pages that have acknowledged alarms. The user will always have to navigate
through the pages of alarms to view them.
Display of alarm pages is prioritized according to active window (unacknowledged or
flashing alarm) and page number (for example, if two pages have an unacknowledged
alarm, the page with the lowest number will automatically be promoted as the displayed
page).
Select the Settings > Local HMI > Annunciator Panel menu item to open the annunciator
configuration page.
Figure 430: Annunciator configuration page
The following settings are available to configure the annunciator. The settings descriptions
apply to all 288 alarms, with different default values.
Page Layout
Range: 3 × 4, 4 × 6, 6 × 8
Default: 3 × 4
This setting specifies the number of alarms per page. For instance, if 63 alarms have
been configured and the page layout is selected as "4 × 6", then three pages are
required (since 63 / (4 × 6) = 2.625, which rounds up to 3). The enumeration of alarm
windows is from left to right, top to bottom and lowest page number to highest page
number.
Alarm Input
Range: any FlexLogic™ operand or shared operand
Default: see above
This setting specifies the input signal connected to the alarm.
