Prior to removal of the AC module, the CT secondary circuit must be shorted in order to
prevent an open-circuit condition on a CT.
Module withdrawal and insertion may only be performed when control power has been
removed from the unit. Inserting an incorrect module type into a slot may result in
personal injury, damage to the unit or connected equipment, or undesired operation!
Proper electrostatic discharge protection (for example, a static strap) must be used
when coming in contact with modules while the relay is energized!

The D90
is a modular system. This allows for the easy withdrawal and insertion of
functional modules. Modules must only be replaced in their original factory configured
slots. The faceplate can be opened to the left, once the sliding latch on the right side has
been pushed up, as shown below. This allows for easy accessibility of the modules for
withdrawal.
