Printing

The controller supports printing from Windows, Macintosh, and Unix
applications.
The PCL6 and PostScript Level 3-compatible print drivers let you define
document properties from the orientation and print quality of your pages,
to complex finishing options like booklet layout and multi-position
stapling. The PCL6 printer driver also supports documents created for
PCL5e devices.
You can enhance printed documents with image overlays and
watermarks. Then, by using the Proof Print feature, you can check the
output by printing a proof copy before printing an entire multi-copy job.
You can also use the private print feature to hold confidential documents
until you enter a personal document password at the copier.
Other features include scheduled printing and print profiles, which allow
you to set specific property settings that can then be assigned to
document profiles. This means that future jobs can be configured with a
click of the mouse.
This chapter describes how to set up print jobs and use the basic and
advanced document production and assembly options. Where applicable,
it gives instructions for printing from workstations using the Windows,
Macintosh, and Unix operating systems. However, not all features are
supported on all platforms.
