leading zeros for numbers smaller than 10,000. You can also press
Alt+I.
Proof print: prints the first copy of a multi-copy job, then awaits your
approval before printing the remaining copies.
Print to Image Overlay File: prints an image to a file and allows you
to superimpose that image on other documents.
An Image overlay is a captured image the controller incorporates into
a document when it prints. Unlike a watermark, an image overlay can
include graphics and text. When you select this job type and click
,
OK
the printer driver prompts you to save the image file.
If you select an overlay with a multiple-pages-per-sheet job (n-up
printing), the controller prints only one overlay per physical page, as
opposed to printing the overlay on every single miniature page.
If you decide to add an image overlay to a print job, you can overlay
the image on all pages or only the first page. If you select an overlay
for a multiple-page job, the controller uses only the first page of the
document in the overlay.
Note: Access to the operating system registry is required for the driver
to save overlay files. Overlay creation may not be available if the
printer driver was downloaded from the controller. This is because
the driver has limited permission and cannot access the registry.
Document Manager: sends the print job to the Document Manager
storage area on the controller. You can store the document in the
public, private, or department folders.
If you choose Document Manager, the driver removes irrelevant
options, such as number of copies, sort options, and destination tray.
All print options available for normal printing are available for
Document Manager Print with the exception of these options.
The controller stores all Document Manager jobs in the public folder.
Administrators and registered users may select a private folder in the
Document Manager repository. An administrator can send print jobs
to the department folder of the Document Manager repository.
When you select the Department or Private folders, the driver
prompts you for the username/Login ID and password. After you
click
, the driver verifies your username and password with the
OK
Document Manager system.
Document Manager Print: sends the job to Document Manager
storage and to the copier for printing. Select the public, private, or
department folder.
