6.7.4 Using the temperature input in the PTc mode

If the temperature input is operated in the PTC mode, the user is provided with all pos-
sibilities within the specified resistance range. This can be:
Wiring examples in the PTc mode
Thermal contact (NC contact)
Temperature sensor (PTC)
Mixed sensor chain

If no evaluation of the input is required, the function can be switched off with Pn.12 =
"7" (CP.28) (standard in operating mode "GENERAL").Alternatively, a bridge can be
installed between T1B and T2B.
KTY or PTc cables and sensors
► Do not lay KTY or PTC cable from the motor (also screened) together
with control cables!
► KTY or PTC cable within the motor cable only permitted with double
shielding!
► KTY sensors may not be used in connection with other detections.
Otherwise incorrect measurements will be the result.
