8.2.4 Switch-on procedures

Switch-on procedure WrA
► Switch on the main switch Q1 at the switch cabinet door.
► Set the key switch S1 from position 0 to 1.
The control release ST is set, when
Then the modulation is released.
Switch-on procedure Wrb
The pre-charge of the drive converter is started.
The DC link voltage reaches the preset value in parameter LE.04.
The output O1 is set and switches off the precharging of the drive converter (the in-
ternal locking prevents simultaneous switching on of precharging and circuit break-
er).
Next, the circuit breaker Q2 is switched on and further charging of the DC link occurs
via Q2, WRA or AFE filter.
The modulation is suppressed by internal parameterisation (OA, IA) until the adjust-
able threshold value (LE.04) is reached and the waiting time (di.48) has elapsed.
the pre-charging contactor Q1 is dropped-out.
the circuit breaker Q2 is switched on.
input I2 is set and the delay time (di.42) has elapsed.
The phase position and rotating field of the mains voltage are detected.
The DC link voltage is controlled to the setpoint (oP.03).
If the setpoint (oP.03) is reached, the relay output 2 (FLC) switches.
The type of release of the WRB is depending on the used control board, in any case
the WRA must work on a power system.
F6 control board. Here, STO must be wired according to point => 6.9 for release.
STO1 is set when relay output 2 of the WRA (FLC) is set.
F5 control board. Several possibilities are available here. One variant is shown as an
example in the instruction manual of the drive converter. The realization of a different
release should be done in consultation with KEB.
Instructions for the drive converter can be found here.
