Related Service Mode:
• Select the following service mode to determine whether to detect the original size:
SCAN > READER > OPTION > USER > SIZE-DET
<Setting value>
0: The original size is not detected.
1: The original size is detected.
• Perform the following procedure to switch between AB and inch configuration.
1. SCAN > SCAN SW > SW06 > Bit2
Set the value to 1 about the above service mode, and then turn the power switch to off and then on.
2. SCAN > READER > OPTION > BODY > SENS-CNF
<Setting value>
0: AB configuration
1: Inch configuration
2: A configuration
To enable the correct paper selection, change the following setting of the paper size group if necessary.
3. SYSTEM > SYSTEM Numeric > 057

4: AB / Inch configuration

■ Dirt Sensor Control

● Overview
The machine changes the original read position or corrects the read image depending on the presence/absence of dust on the
stream reading glass or ADF platen roller, thus preventing dust from showing up in the image. This control is performed only
when the ADF is used and it is closed.
