* I2: 1st transfer roller
When the 1st transfer roller is replaced, apply FLOIL (GE-334C) all around the shaft on both
edges of the 1st transfer roller contacting with the bushing inside the 1st transfer roller holder
Counter resetting is not possible in the PM support mode because the 1st transfer roller is not
a PM part. Therefore reset the counter in the following PM management settings after the 1st
transfer roller was replaced.

08-1214-0: 1st transfer roller (K)
-
08-1216-0: 1st transfer roller (Y)
-
08-1218-0: 1st transfer roller (M)
-
08-1220-0: 1st transfer roller (C)
* I3: Drive roller, I4: 2nd transfer facing roller, I6: Tension roller, I7: Idling roller
Fully clean up the toner and such adhering to the roller with alcohol, since an image failure may
occur if there is any dirt remaining on the roller. Also, remove dust and toner scattering adhering
to the inside of the transfer belt unit in order to keep rollers clean.
* I8: Transfer belt cleaning blade
Handling precautions
-
Do not allow hard objects to hit or rub against blade edge.

Do not rub the edge with a cloth or soft pad.
-
Do not leave oil (or fingerprints, etc.) on the edge.
-
Do not apply solvents such as paint thinner to the blade.
-
Do not allow paper fibers or dirt to contact the blade edge.
-
Do not place the blade near a heat source.
Cleaning procedure
Clean the blade edge with a cloth moistened with water and squeezed lightly.
