Start the server. Confirm that is starts correctly and recognizes the newly installed devices, and
make sure that no error LEDs are lit.

Note: Remember to route the power cord through the cable retainer clip so that it does not
accidentally become disconnected.

Installing the air baffle
Use this information to install the air baffle.
To install the air baffle, complete the following steps:
Step 1.
Read the safety information that begins in "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines" on
page 36.
Step 2.
Lower the air baffle into the server. Make sure that the tabs on the air baffle are inserted into the
holes on the chassis.
Attention: For proper cooling and airflow, replace the air baffle before you turn on the server.
Operating the server with the air baffle removed might damage server components.
