Step 19. Install the air baffle (see "Replacing the air baffle" on page 323).

Step 20. Install the PCI riser-card assembly (see "Replacing a PCI riser-card assembly" on page 237).

Step 21. Install the server top cover (see "Replacing the server top cover" on page 321).

Step 22. Reconnect the power cord and any cables that you removed.

Step 23. Turn on the peripheral devices and the server.

Removing the media cage

Use this information to remove the media cage.

To remove the media cage, complete the following steps:

Read the safety information that begins in "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines" on

Turn off the server (see "Turning off the server" on page 26) and all attached peripheral devices.

Disconnect all power cords; then, disconnect all external cables as necessary to replace the device.

Remove the server top cover (see "Removing the server top cover" on page 320).

Remove the PCI riser-card assembly (see "Removing a PCI riser-card assembly" on page 235).

Remove the air baffle (see "Removing the air baffle" on page 322).

Disconnect the USB, video, CD/DVD and front operator information panel cables from the system

board. Please remember the relevant cable routing.
