-Control basics

-Control is optimized to work with the Pro Tools Automation Touch mode. Other update modes, such as Latch, can be
emulated with -Control without having to change the Pro Tools track automation mode. Additionally, there are equivalents
to certain global HD-only automation features such as capture/punch without having to use the Pro Tools automation
menus.
-Control also offers a Trim playlist for the console faders even with non-HD Pro Tools setups.
A plug-in channel can be 'dropped' into Write mode either from the desk fader automation status keys or by using the fader
touch sensor – this is indicated by the Automation Status LED illuminating red for Absolute data and green for Trim data.
(These indications are independent of the actual automation status of the track into which the plug-in has been inserted and
may not reflect actual write status until the preferred Pro Tools automation mode, Touch, has been selected.)
It is feasible to use the Pro Tools Write and Latch modes but desk fader status indicators will indicate only that the
fader has been touched or the write status command to the plugin is active.

The -Ctrl Plug-in

Before mixing with -Control, the -Ctrl plug-in will need to be installed onto your workstation computer.
Download on to your workstation computer either the SSL Delta Control.dmg disk image (Macintosh) or the SSL Delta
Control Setup.zip file (Windows). These contain the Duality Remote and ipMIDI applications and the latest version of the
installation instructions.

Installing the -Ctrl Plug-in (Macintosh)
Open the disk image and mount the SSL Delta Control Plug-in.pkg; follow the installation steps as shown below.
